Dr. Jordan Press

Dr. Jordan Press, Au.D. is a Doctor of Audiology and the owner of Comprehensive Hearing Solutions, with offices in Pittsburg and Fort Scott, Kansas, and on Holmes Road in Kansas City, Missouri. He has been practicing audiology since 2017, and he is the audiologist you see at every visit, from your first hearing test through each follow-up appointment.

Dr. Press earned his B.A. in Biology from the University of Kansas, then completed his Doctor of Audiology at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2017. He is a licensed audiologist in the State of Kansas.

His approach starts with testing. A diagnostic hearing evaluation shows whether hearing loss is present and, if it is, its type, degree, and configuration (which pitches are affected and by how much). Dr. Press takes the time to walk you through those results in plain language, so you understand your hearing before any recommendation is made. When something calls for medical attention, he works directly with physicians and ENT providers.

When hearing aids make sense, he fits Phonak, Oticon, and Widex and matches the device to your hearing loss, your daily routine, and your budget. You and your family learn how to clean and care for the hearing aids at the fitting, and follow-up care is included. He also makes custom ear molds and hearing protection for hunters, shooters, musicians, and anyone who works around loud noise.
